Quality of Life and Recovery

[edit source]

To say that a person has a psychological disorder, is to say that they are some how deprieved of having the appropriate quality of life, which they could potentially have if they were not to have a psychological disorder. So recovery is largely about obtaining Quality of Life. This is a principle of humanistic psychology.
