@Oduci: If knowing the creator / publisher of the multimedia adds value for you, that's fine. However, I don't understand the purpose of adding license information. The license isn't relevant for linked content, only for copied content. Taken to its extreme, this approach would require us to add license information to all external links on Wikiversity.
