Just found this. Should have some sort of a tie-in with the School of History. The Jade Knight 11:37, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea Jade Knight. I've put it here. --ChrisfowTalk to me! 13:41, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
We need a learning project on local politics ... like electing a Wikiversity sympathizer to the Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation. We could go through the whole process of defining what we want in a candidates position, recruiting viable candidates, have internal selection process to pick candidate for the actual election, design ways to build support with other pigeonholed Wikimedians dissatisfied with the unresponsiveness of the existing Board and some of their inadequate or irresponsible performance. I suppose I am for a reform candidate. Others may believe we just need more active effective leaders to suppot the dramatic growth and potential of Wikimedia Foundation projects to fullfill their inspiring vision statements. Yes, a real "learn by doing" project....start a political party and try to get candidates elected to the Board of Trustees. --JWSchmidt 20:02, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
