@Earth 3347: Please elaborate. Why is your vision for a physiology course incompatible with this content? -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 23:35, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Random Thoughts[edit source]

A screenshot of NeuralNetworkSimulator application on Android OS

One time I was explaining a pupil opening regulation. I used an application for Android OS called NeuralNetworkSimulator, created by Ethan Heming (https://github.com/Xipher7934/NeuralNetworkSimulator). I got it on f-droid.org (https://f-droid.org/packages/com.EthanHeming.NeuralNetworkSimulator/), tapped on the screen three times to add neurons, swiped a couple of times to add axons (neural connections), set respective properties of neurons (sensitive and motor), and got a working scheme that reacts to light making the device to vibrate. That corresponds to our pupils' work: the more light -- the more iris sphincter muscle contracts. Though that've been done to explain the action of cholinoblockators, I wonder whether this (in fact) toy is useful in explanation other cases of body functioning.
