A Critique of the logical Premise
It is a tautology to say that if life survived entry into Earth's atmosphere then it would be here. The above critique doesn't make an argument but restates the obvious. However, it is not what the actual article is saying. Based on the abstract, the article appears to state that since Stardust found the basic elements for life, then life has to exist outside of earth, which the author claims as a support to the Panspermia hypothesis. However, just because we have the materials to make an automobile, it does not follow that we have an automobile, nor prove the existence of an automotive factory.
