Overall

[edit source]
  1. Overall comments
    1. Overall, this is a Pass-level chapter. It offers a useful, basic overview of the relation between body language and emotion.
  1. Theory comments
    1. Several relevant theories are mentioned, but they are not explained in much depth. There is significant reliance on a few key resources e.g., Mehrabian, Pease.
  1. Research comments
    1. Several relevant research studies are briefly mentioned.
  1. Written expression comments
    1. The quality of written expression was not at P-standard for 3rd year psychology mainly due to an apparent lack of proofreading for grammar and spelling errors.
    2. Several useful and relevant images were included, although APA style captioning was not used.
    3. The reference list exhibits P-level APA style.
    4. No wiki links e.g., to other related chapters are provided.
