Exciting!
[edit source]Nice one Pete, I can't wait to see this fill out. I discovered this via your blog, which I'm seeing more of now I'm keeping up with my reader. I so agree that web pages need to almost always be mobile ready, and I prefer a website experience to be the same whether I'm on mobile or not. Is this what you mean in consideration 1? That users prefer web apps to mobile apps? That's what I'm agreeing with anyway.. And I'm looking forward to learning how to develop sites for mobile in HTML5. Great to see this on Wikiversity too, which I hope will have the mobile style that is used on Wikipedia soon. :-) Leighblackall 10:49, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
- Leigh, great to read your words. From a web app to mobile app perspective it seems that people prefer viewing browser apps on their mobile device rather than localized mobile apps. makes things a lot easier for them we only need to target the browser not every different device. There are differences in browsers, I will be covering this in the course. I do like the Wikipedia mobile, they've kept it simple and effective. Peter Rawsthorne 22:27, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
