There was an attempt to have a Wikipedia mascot.

If that mascot image offends anyone or if you feel it misrepresents Wikiversity please feel free to change it. I thought it was funny, but yeah, a bit edgy... Nonetheless, it is of a college setting. This would be a good place to post and discuss new images that might be "representative" of Wikiversity (view all past and current images. It is traditional for many educational institutions and websites to have mascots. There was some discussion of a mascot at Talk:Wikiversity the Movie. --JWSchmidt 13:47, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
