Merge with Ethical hacking[edit source]

@Dave Braunschweig:, my dear new friend here at Wikiversity :-) It seems you have created this page based on Dandelko's "promotion" of White Hat Alliance several places. But there was already a page about ethical hacking. I don't know if you missed it because you are using a different casing style ;-) But that page have not been placed/promoted/categorized in a good enough way, because I missed it too, and first found it when I was linking to it, with the expectation that it did not exist and I thought I should create it from scratch. By the way, I don't see much "learning" content on that page, so I think I will rewrite it and since I will create a whole course about the topic, that's another good reason to rewrite it.

If you want, you can add a {{Merge to}} on the resource page. Merging requires advanced rights, because it involves deleting and restoring the combined pages. But it's the best approach, because it preserves the edit histories of both versions. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 01:41, 14 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Older version of page and talk page[edit source]

Since there were no talk page when adding the topic above, I created a new page, but it said that was a previous version from 2009 I think, that could be retrieved or restored by an "admin". In the history of the resource page and in the Page information, it says it was created in 2013. But have it been an earlier version of that page too??? Regards from a curious user. /Patrik Näsfors (discusscontribs) 00:40, 14 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, there was a previous version. It was nonsense, not even in English, not sure it was in any language at all. Per Wikimedia policy, only admins (Custodians or Bureaucrats here at Wikiversity) are allowed to view deleted content. The right to view deleted content requires community approval as a trusted user. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 01:38, 14 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
