Charles Harbord, Lord Suffield (at 535) and Cecilia Harbord, Lady Suffield (at 536) and their daughter Bridget Harbord attended the Duchess of Devonshire's fancy-dress ball.[5]

The 1813 poem by George Gordon, Lord Byron is set in Turkey. The bride is Zuleika, and she loves Selim, who is said to be her brother.
