At the Duchess of Devonshire's fancy-dress ball, Carlo Ermes Visconti, Marchese di San Vito (at 691) was one of the Mousquetaires, dressed in a "tunic of ruby silk velvet embroidered with the arms; blue velvet trunks."[4]:34, Col. 2a
