Sir Maurice FitzGerald (at 598) and Amelia, Lady FitzGerald (at 599) attended the Duchess of Devonshire's fancy-dress ball.[5]:p. 12, Col. 4b

Lafayette's portrait of "Amelia Catherine (née Bischoffsheim), Lady Fitzgerald as Marie Joséphe, Queen of Poland, A.D. 1737" in costume is photogravure #57 in the album presented to the Duchess of Devonshire and now in the National Portrait Gallery.[6] The printing on the portrait says, "Lady Fitzgerald as Marie Joséphe Queen of Poland, A.D. 1737."[7]
