  1. The article in the Gentlewoman says "Florence Dyke," but the person before her in their list is Lady Duncombe, who was Florence, so perhaps the Lady Dyke is just a transference from that. Other sources agree that it is Lady Emily Dyke.
  2. William Hart Dyke was influential in the development of tennis.[2]
