As reported on Saturday in the London Standard, Bertie and Alex hosted a Garden Party at Marlborough House: <quote>The band of the 2d Life Guards, under the direction of Mr. W. Winterbottom; the band of the 10th Royal Hussars, under the direction of Mr. B. Green; and the Chinese musicians, played in the garden during the afternoon</quote> (GPaMH).

  1. Mostly the people reported as present were family and their attendants, but this was a garden party at Marlborough House, and so was probably enormous.
