Naming Conventions

[edit source]

This page is more like a bookshelf than a Wikibook all to itself. Before anybody tries to push for compliance of WB:NP here, I would suggest that they look at what this page is all about first and see if it really applies. There are problems with many of these Wikibooks, but adhearance to the naming policy is not really one of them. --Rob Horning 17:00, 5 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have checked the links. In fact I made a deep check. Most links end in stubs or encyclopedic entries.

Actually most WB:NP violations nowadays originate from Wikiversity. They mistake Wikibooks with Wikipedia and polute Wikibooks with encyclopedic entries and books stubs which will never become books.

I think that it is proper that we tell them off - this is our project and Wikiversity is only a guest here.

PS: I voted against Wikiversity because they are not ready yet but now that they won anyway and I hope that Wikiversity gets there own server soon and leaves us in peace. That is: unadored links won't point to Wikibooks any more. That would be good for both of us: We won't have there stubs anymore and Wikiversity contributors might learn to use Wikipedia links when appropiate.
