There is discussion about whether this School belongs in the School of Humanities at Portal talk:Humanities. Please leave your comments on the matter there. The Jade Knight 21:52, 16 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Interdisciplinary course

I've created a course on the History of Ireland through Song. Feel free to mention it here. The Jade Knight 04:03, 25 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

to the topic namespace....?

This could maybe be a topic instead of a school, under School:Area studies. Something like that. Emesee 04:43, 11 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

It could be, but I don't think it's a very big issue—more important right now is to get content! The Jade Knight 05:38, 11 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Why two pages?

What is the function of this portal page and the separate Irish page? Right now it seems like a bit of an awkward split-up.

@Chapka: Irish is for any content related to the Irish language, and should be renamed Irish language or Irish Language, so it is not confused with any future efforts regarding other things from Ireland. Portals are not included in Wikiversity search, and only exist to organize users wanting to collaborate on learning projects. The last portal activity was 12 years ago. You should focus your efforts on the Irish learning project for now. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 02:42, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Pillbox, Shako, and Cap

I'm not sure this has enough of a connection to Ireland to be relevant to the Irish Portal. Any reason I shouldn't trim this link?
