Resources

[edit source]

The resources listed are Wikiversity resources. Can I change this to a dynamic list from the school of Education? Brett Johnston (discusscontribs) 10:15, 22 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Brett Johnston: Sure, but please also plan for both Wikipedia: Chunking and Wikipedia: Progressive disclosure. We should have appropriate amounts of information discoverable though some type of drill-down interface as people are interested. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 20:15, 22 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Dave Braunschweig: Okay. I noticed potential user progress losses when generating a large list in a template yesterday. I'm going to spend some time learning how to parse user-worthy articles from dynamic link calls. Possibly, generating a list from a feature page is a simpler solution for the School of Education to access. Another alternative would be to use some programmatic functionality from the different scripting options available in WikiMedia. Analyzing heat maps, Web 2.0, crowdsourcing for the delivery of generated elements is a more complex idea to consider. To start, I will see what can be done in a sandbox..
