Dialect names[edit source]
The dialects mentioned should probably be called by their more common English names, Cantonese and Mandarin. Otherwise it will be confusing. The Jade Knight 08:00, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Course Planning[edit source]
I thought it's not a bad idea if we structure the two courses, Mandarin and Cantonese, similarly to a University course. Then at least it has some goals and a difference to just any old course. I propose around 24 lessons or however many weeks are in one academic year, and then seperate (but connected) lessons for reading, writing, listening and speaking, as that is how it is taught at most Universities.
