History is the study of the past, particularly how it relates to humans. It is an umbrella term that relates to past events as well as the memory, discovery, collection, organization, presentation, and interpretation of information about these events.[1]

Using both primary and secondary sources and document-based investigation, students trace the emergence of the interdependence between world regions-an interaction stimulated by European invasions and colonizations and sustained by the contributions of the non-western regions.
