Chart prepared by Du Bois for the The Exhibit of American Negroes at the 1900 Paris Exposition which set out to show the economic and social progress of African Americans since emancipation.
This is one of 894 photographs and 129 such images uploaded from the US Library of Congress. It displays the development of the number of African American teachers in the Public School system in the State of Georgia, 1886-1897.
