1. Background of the project (problem):

Women in Cambodia are often feeling unsafe in their area and mostly in the urban area.It is mostly of its(urban) infrastructure qualities.Those women face a lot of challenges when their community is badly maintenance.

2. Objectives :

·To organize raising awareness on the ICT fundamental, the content and ethnic of writing.

·To empower 25 university students can capture undeveloped infrastructure and disaster prone and those issues to write into their own blog.

·To create an opportunity of young women to embrace technology for advocacy and to share their information resource through YWNL’s or their own page facebook.

3. Stakeholders : Students, IFL university, UNwomen, Life Academy.

4. List of Activities :

To train 25 university students to know how to use small phone Application, Blog, open soft Social Media, and Khmer Unicode.

25 university students will be enabled to communicate with 10 women residents by group discussion and mapping their problem to open soft and smart phone application.

Youth and especially young women will use ICT tool for information dissemination in their own community. 

5. Expected result ;

 We expect that the project will increase students’ knowledge and capacity of being a citizen journalist and they(student) will be able to pass on their knowledge to other people. Students will be able to address the real problem of the harassment toward women that causes by poor infrastructure. Students will be able to file reports and put pressure to the local government to act upon their reports.
