Objective

• Identify and begin to integrate a limited set of unique knowledges and skills helpful in working with children together with their families.
• Demonstrate skills for talking respectfully with parents about their children’s difficulties.
• Demonstrate skills for talking respectfully with children about their difficulties.
• Articulate and integrate skills for building relationship between parents and children.

Assignment

1500 word individual report on working with a family where a child or children are affected by their parent’s chronic condition and you have worked with the family around this.
