Indian Ocean

The Indian Ocean is the third largest of the world's oceanic divisions, covering 70,560,000 km2 (27,240,000 sq mi) (approximately 20% of the water on the Earth's surface). It is bounded by Asia on the north, on the west by Africa, on the east by Australia, and on the south by the Southern Ocean. It is named after India.

印度洋是世界上第三大海洋分区，面积为70,560,000平方公里（27,240,000平方英里）（约占地球表面水面的20％）。北部以亚洲为界，西部以非洲为界，东部以澳大利亚为界，南部以南大洋为界。它以印度命名。
