Dependend on the general types of battery application there are 3 types battery supply infrastructures:

  • Battery Charge Network: having a country wide network for vehicle electricity supply similar to gasoline stations, where vehicles can stop and charge there battery. In comparison to solar cells attached to the vehicle other forms of renewable energy like wind energy can be used to provide the electricity to charge the battery in the vehicle.
  • Battery Exchange Network: A battery exchanger network will be care of charging and test empty batteries, distribute batteries, provide the infrastructure to exchanged a filled battery for the vehicle
  • Battery Refill: Produce the fluid, gas or solid matter is carrier of the energy for vehicle adn distribute the energy carrier in the network.
