Studio for Artificial Intelligence

The Studio for AI will be a dynamic environment focused on hands-on application of artificial intelligence to learn and to teach

Mission

  • To create an engaging and thought-provoking space where AI is not just a tool, but a partner in exploring diverse fields including design, art, humanities, and social sciences.
  • To inspire educators, students, and professionals to integrate AI into their daily lives, fostering a sense of curiosity and discovery.
  • To cultivate a space where learning with AI is not only informative but also joyful and exciting, addressing ethical and accuracy challenges along the way.
  • To emphasize the development of critical thinking through AI interactions, ensuring that each encounter leads to meaningful learning and knowledge retention.

Vision

  • ChatGPT as Co-PI: Assessing and analyzing the experience of co-teaching with ChatGPT.

Workshops

To be scheduled with on-campus faculty, staff and students; prospective students; BOCES; other community venues. Similar to open-mic, but to include prompts and structured experiences for individuals and small groups.
