The pages in this category are redirects from singular words or phrases to those rare, uncategorically correct plural forms, such as DroneDrones. This is a maintenance category, used for maintenance of the Wikiversity project. It is not part of the project and contains non-resource pages, or groups resources by status rather than subject. Do not include this category in content categories. This is a tracking category. It builds and maintains a list of pages primarily for the sake of the list itself. They are not part of the project's categorization scheme. This category is hidden on its member pages—unless the corresponding user preference (Appearance → Show hidden categories) is set. These categories can be used to track, build and organize lists of pages needing "attention en masse" (for example, pages using deprecated syntax), or that may need to be edited at someone's earliest convenience. These categories also serve to aggregate members of several lists or sub-categories into a larger, more efficient list (discriminated by classifications).

This is not an encouragement to disregard the English Wikiversity naming conventions, but is for the rare case where the plural is uncategorically correct. This redirect link is used for convenience, usually for words that do not follow simple conventions. They lead to the title in accordance with the Wikipedia naming conventions for titles in the plural and can help writing.

In most cases, it is preferable to add the plural directly after the link (i.e., [[link]]s), which is the subject of the sibling category Category:Redirects from plurals and its associated {{R from plural}} template.
