Clues and discussion:

  • Looks a lot like a member of the nightshade family. The flower structure is nearly identical to that of Solanum dulcamara, though the color is wrong. --Jomegat 01:07, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
    • I see what you mean about the flower structure - and the colour is actually quite congruent - but the leaves are totally different from examples I've just looked up - these were very hairy leaves and stems, whereas the nightshade seems to have quite smooth leaves.   • Lucked out and stumbled over this one today! I was looking for Starflower on Wikipedia and accidentally disambiguated to Borage.
