Assistant teachers for courses during the afternoon[edit | edit source]
In an all-day school scenario assistant teachers can also be used for courses during the afternoon but it may be important not to allow the assistant teacher effort to be reduced to homework supervision. Homework supervision can be part of an assistant teacher effort but it is insufficient as the sole purpose of the effort because the assistant teachers receive motivation from doing creative group work themselves in oder to prepare lessons and from being educators.
