[edit | edit source]Farming sharks is a very efficient way economically to farm shark fins. the practice won't take as much time because fishing companies don't have to find sharks. One of the promblems is that sharks are a K-selected species, meaning they produce fewer healthier offspring. This will make them hard to manage.
