How to build secure systems or services?[edit source]
A good start to create awareness for the many facets of technical security. There should also be a link to the discussion 'how to build secure systems', e.g. Security engineering. - @Ppso: See the Information Systems/Security#See Also section. Security engineering is just an empty shell that has been relatively untouched for more than a decade. - @Dave Braunschweig: what I'm basically missing is a part that addresses what security needs to be build into a system. There can be reference to Ross Andersons accessible book. This would also suite the page Security engineering. Or there's a part pointing to suitable material for risk-based security engineering. --Ppso (discuss • contribs) 19:08, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Ppso: This course targets a specific set of objectives and is used in real-world courses meeting college requirements. Please see https://clep.collegeboard.org/business/information-systems . - @Dave Braunschweig: Okay, seems that the course is preparing sys ads and that like, not those building systems or services (here: securely). Seems to be my misconception. Scoping the course more clearly seems indicated. --Ppso (discuss • contribs) 06:27, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Ppso: Please see Information Systems#Preparation. This is a first semester entry level course for anyone interested in learning more about information systems.
