About Micro-level Instructional Methods[edit | edit source]
The classification of instructional methods as "macro" and "micro" is attributable to Dr. Charles Reigeluth in his 1983 book, Instructional Design Theories and Models. Micro refers to instructional methods used to teach a single idea. Macro instructional methods, on the other hand, are used to teach multiple ideas.
