“A Biblical Psychology” places Biblical Exemplars in dialogue with Freud, Jung and Dabrowski and points to the only sure path to psychic wholeness as being an unreserved acceptance of the strain, tension, hazards and risks that go with leaving one’s perceived comfort zone and entering onto “a strange new island” of one’s own psychic growth.
