Wikiversity:Why not to contribute to Wikiversity

Why to contribute to Wikiversity, thinly veiled as why not to![edit source]

"It demands a certain amount of commitment" <-- just enough to hit "edit", type something, and click "save". Even small contributions are welcome.

"don't start something that you won't be able to finish!" <-- Wikiversity is a wiki. What one person starts other people will continue.

Why to actually not contribute to Wikiversity[edit source]

"Because it will one day hurt my career" <-- just enough to stop you getting tenure at Brown.

"...my hard work will be undone by sanctimonious gits..." <-- Wikiversity is a wiki. It has an advanced, nepotistic administrative regime that will see your edits get junked in seconds.

"I don't want to give away what I might sell for a zillion dollars as a consultant / trainer / book author." <-- Good luck with that.
