Wikipedia and the 2008 US elections/Choosing articles

The first group of articles should probably be the major candidates, but any article of interest can be added (even the article on Arugula saw activity after a minor news event: see w:Talk:Eruca_sativa#John_McCain_reference_incorrect). There's no need to use any sort of process to determine notability in the early stages, though a "final draft" might need to select only the most notable articles.
