WP:NOT is one of the main policies for determining the scope of the project.

Note: Loading the earliest version will give you a link to a "previous version", and the previous version is in 2002). This is because the links to the previous/next versions go by revision ID, which signifies when an edit was added to the database, not date. The 2001 versions have higher revision ID's than some of the 2002 versions because they were imported in September 2002.

This data would probably be better presented as tables and graphs.
