- Location: Right in front of my yard
- Type: Deciduous
- Leaf: Simple
- Margin: Smooth/Smooth edged
- Arrangement: Alternate
- Habitat: Understory of moist forests
- Fruit: Red, Brown, Flattened, Oblong, 2-4 inches
- Virginia Range: Nearly entire state except for the extreme southeastern part of Virginia.
