Yajnavalkya is a Hindu sage whose teachings are found in the Upanishads. He was the teacher of the Ancient Mithila University. He taught his teachings at the Yajnavalkya Ashram of the Ancient Mithila University.

The Institution of the Vedic sage Yajnavalkya is known as Yajnavalkya Ashram. It is located at Jagban village of Madhubani district in the Mithila region of Bihar. It was associated with the Ancient Mithila University.
