I can't quite see the point of this template. Surely it's easier to type </div> than {{div col end}}.--Collingwood (talk) 21:41, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Its copied from wikipedia. The templates colbegin and colend redirected to div col and div col end. If this is to be, making colbegin and colend would make more sense, even though similar titles exist too on wikipedia's page (those could do without, since those have to be done manually). They could be renamed. A text on wiki somewhere said to use wiki markup before html markup, but since you're the administrator and you say that works, that could do. I'll leave it to your decision.
