Living wisely is an antidote to terrorism[edit source]

I believe that living wisely is the ultimate antidote to terrorism. The Wikiversity living wisely course can help us all live more wisely. Perhaps it can be referenced or incorporated into this research. Thanks! --Lbeaumont (discusscontribs) 11:27, 9 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Might I suggest the opposite?
  1. I noticed your Living Wisely course does not cite Kahneman, the research psychologist who won the 2002 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics for showing that the standard economics models of the "rational person" do not describe how people actually make decisions. His Thinking, Fast and Slow might provide a solid empirical foundation for some of what you teach in Living Wisely, I think.
  2. I also noticed that your Living Wisely does not cite Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Covey discusses the journey from "independence" to "interdependence". Am I correct that your Living Wisely covers only "independence"? What do you think about extending it to discuss "interdependence"? If you do that, then the "Implications section of Winning the War on Terror could be seen as part of Living Wisely.
??? Thanks for your comment. DavidMCEddy (discusscontribs) 13:07, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
