Page title[edit source]

Eventually I'm going to move this page to The Ancient World (HUM 124 - UNC Asheville)/Texts/Upanishads...it looks like when it was created or linked from somewhere the title got changed. Its not a problem at all, and you can keep editing here. -Joey Cross (discusscontribs) 17:51, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Comments on first draft[edit source]

  • There's lots of great info in the paragraph at the top...expand on it, and then add it to different sections (you'll need to create them and decide what they will be!) in the body of the page.
  • Have a key terms section is a great idea. Important ones: brahman, atman, moksha. When you write about them here, draw on the Upanishads themselves which you read. These terms are going to be relevant at other times in this course, so having an Upanishads-focused overview here would be good looking forward (especially if we decided to have a separate page about these concepts in Hinduism, or even a separate page for each one)...
