Required contribution (HUM 124.012/FY1 - Fall 2020)[edit source]

  • Edit/contribute to the individual book page that you have been assigned. Each page needs to have three parts: summary, characters, and ancient worldview. I am most interested in seeing everyone contribute to the third category; in other words, if someone else has written all or most of the summary, or characters section, you may add to that, but I would like you to focus on the ancient worldview section. You should plan on writing at least 750 words in this section, but the most important factor is that your contribution is substantive. A way to ensure that it is substantive is to respond to any comments I give in the Discuss tab of your book page. I will "sign off" on what each of you has contributed to the ancient worldview section over email.
  • Edit/contribute to the storytelling topic page that has been assigned to your group. The easiest way to ensure that you will receive credit for this is to add to the page yourself. If you have discussed elsewhere with your group how to contribute to the page, and, consequently, only some of the group members have edited the page, that is OK as long as you detail (either in an email to me or on the Discuss tab of the page) how each user contributed to the content.

Remember: you are being graded not on the page itself per se but on your contribution. You can see this by clicking "View History" at the top of every page in the wiki.

Please have all your edits done by 10/5. If you need more time, please reach out to me ASAP. Thank you all!
