Plural of "mallë"
[edit source]Quote: "Because of the attestation of the plural of mallë, beeing maller, words ending in -lë are usually considered to belong to the first group of nouns, i.e. those forming the plural in -r."
Elistir, Do you mean,The first group consists of those nouns whose plurals end in an -r, an example of which is mallë (being), whose plural is maller?--Hillgentleman 12:28, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes and no Hillgentleman. This course has been created mainly as Lectures on the Textbook Q#R together with the Grammar Q#W. At the top of each section there's a box with the references (principally about Q#R) the informations below are lectures, notes or adding informations going in-depth. If you reas the references, you'll undertstand the sentence, because Q#R:16 doesn't say that words ending in -lë as beeing part of that group of nouns (forming the plural in -r). However, I see your point that this structure of the course should be cleared. However the reply to your questrion is:
- as we have only two attestation of plural froms of words ending in -lë, the largest shared opinion is that those nouns should belong to the first class.
