Talk:Psychiatric Liberation/Language and "Mental Illness"

Instead of rearranging the entire syntax of our language for what will amount to negligible benefit to the "current" patient and greater benefit for the therapist, we can guide ourselves and others down the path of self-enlightenment versus the path of self-conformation. If the order of words in a sentence cannot be transcended far enough by people to understand that they are not defined by any word in that sentence, then how are we to hope that the malevolent words spoken and actions taken by others will someday be understood and perceived for what they are as well, which would negate the relative waste of time that teaching narcissistic abusers how to more politely formulate their sentences is.
