Hello all.

I would love to know if the creator(s) of the page used any kind of software to picture the sheet music along with the "tablatures".

I would find a lot useful to do such a thing with some tune I can play on the penny whistle already, to learning the new fingering/blowing pressure required by the new instrument, while having fun practicing a real tune which I know *already* (to make things simpler).

I saw three ships

The music for 'I saw three ships', fascinatingly enough, is a quaver out the whole way through. The first quaver of the tune is actually an upbeat to the rest of the song. So instead of Da daa da daa, it should be da Daa da daa da. Hope my notation suffices.. :P Gaidheal1 15:09, 14 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
