Talk:Origami

We all could probably benefit from a course in "How to Classify Lessons, Articles, etc." to make it easier fror students to find relevant materials in the Wikiversity. After arduous search, I have just succeeded in getting from "The School of Art", Category "Sculpture", to this article, "Origami". I intend to document the path, and add signposts along the way, because my favorite type of sculpture is "Sculpture as a Performing Art", which, for me is Origami. I found no references to "Paper Sculpture" or "Paper Engineering" along the way, and I believe these closely-related subjects are also worthy of study. I am also of the opinion that there ought to be more connections between "Art" and "Crafts", because many materials, tools, skills, and techniques for using them are sharable between artits and crafts persons. Creative collaboration sounds like a great idea to me!

I myself have just started the process of learning to contribute to the Wikiversity, so advice, support, and encouragement will be most welcome. How can I make the Wikiversity better? Ray Calvin Baker (talk) 18:27, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

I have asked for help from one of the custodians to get this renamed, in accord with recommended naming practices, as "RCB_FoldingWithTheStars". As I hinted above, getting things properly classified (and named) is not easy. Ray Calvin Baker (talk) 18:35, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
