Why not decimal?[edit source]
The reason that I didn't use decimal for this article is that I don't want people reading it and saying "Well, there's the answer! Decimal is the best as that's what they* chose in writing the comparison article!" without reading. I chose to use the number base of the section instead.
*I used 'they' there as I didn't want to disclose my identity
