Even though there is waste produced with uranium mining we need to realize that there is waste production with all forms of energy production. If weighing the benefits vs. disadvantages to uranium mining while striving to make it safer we may end up with a cleaner way of producing energy.Reply

I agree with the above discussion, but just want to strive the point that more regulations need to be made with regards to the safety of the environment as well as humans that deal with uranium mining. This article does not disagree that nuclear power is "greener" than conventional fossil fuel methods but makes the point that uranium mining should be done in a safer and more reliable way.--Colinc (talk) 01:16, 31 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
