Talk:Nicene Creed (Roman Catholic Theology)

As this resource is dedicated to the theological aspects of the Creed, should we use agree that the original text be the basis for discussion rather than that which is accepted by the Latin churches? The filioque clause comes 1000 years after the original formulation.AlistairReece 14:48, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

I certainly think we should remove the designation in parentheses in the title: "Roman Catholic Theology." Firstly, it's already under the Catholicism heading, so that's assumed. Secondly, the Creed is owned by all three major branches of the Christian Church and interpreted in a similar way by them. (They differ on other points, but not with regard to Trinitarian doctrine.)--gdm 04:18, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
