Maybe there could be a learning project such as "Topics in Biochemistry". Maybe 5 years from now there will be a large community of people at Wikiversity who are interested in biochemistry, but here at the start I think it makes sense to start with topics that are "in the news", medically-oriented and of interest to as wide an "audience" as possible. For example, a "hot topic" right now is the pet food crisis. Wikiversity could have both introductory and advanced biochemistry learning resources related to Non-protein nitrogen as legitimate and illegitimate feed additive. --JWSchmidt 14:26, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Something like Biochemistry in the News. That's an interesting idea, why not give it a go? It brings the thing from theory into everyday reality, where it belongs.
I was very surprised by the interest that topics such as biochemistry, analytic geometry, statistics etc. raised in WP. The portuguese WV has (If I recall correctly, or is it WB?) rather interesting stuff in biochemistry. HolyZarkon 09:42, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
