Have you seen my favorite paper on this topic? [1]--Rayc 00:06, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

If anyone is serious about makeing a decentralized network capable of running a MMORPG I can offer how to do this, at least theoretically (not enough programming experience/time) But this wiki is very messy and unorganized, there is no room to provide the answers to these questions, Decentilization doesn't not seem to be fully understood and the brainstorming does not seem to relate to any other section.

So add a section or a link to Decentralization and begin the design notes. Feel free to link back to other sections or ideas or footnote as appropriate. Wiki evolve over time by participation. If you have answers it is your responsibility to make room and attempt to improve the organization and presentation of the information. This is part of the "wiki way". Alternate naming and clarification of focus...

These are some suggestions. How about the last one?

Decentralized multiuser universe

Decentralized digital multiuser universe

Digital decentralized multiuser universe

Decentralized multiuser digital space

Indeed, the topic is misleading. It seems that decentralization is an important thing about this project but the topic just states this could be any kind of game.

Many users important?

[edit source]

The subject of making a MMORPG game really intresst me. But are there really anyone that work on that idea? An idea is to start small, eg. without the "massive" part of a "Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game" and figure out simple unique concept. Even if this is just done for research I think that every game should have a kind of unique-ness. Then, if this project become popular enough, issues that occur with many users can be solved.
